[ISO/TS 16949]

  • The IATF was formed with the participation of the three major US automobile manufacturers (Daimler Chrysler, GM, Ford), European automobile manufacturers (Peugeot, Renault, Volkswagen, Fiat, BMW, etc.), and the American and European Automobile Associations.
  • Unlike QS-9000, which was developed by the three major US automakers based on automotive-related quality system requirements (design, development, production, installation, and service), it was born as a global standard that integrates Europe and the United States.
  • The quality assurance system was integrated into the ISO technical standard and created as a single international technical standard.

[SQ certification]

  • This is a SUPPLIER-QUALITY certification system created to ultimately produce and supply the best products by stabilizing the production quality system between processes by focusing on industries where it is difficult to verify durability with complete products. The types of business are rubber (raw rubber, CMB sales, rubber molding), electrical parts (W/H), casting, forging, electrical and electronic parts, welding, heat treatment, injection, sewing, painting, plating, etc.
  • In order to receive this quality certification, it is necessary to have a transaction record with Hyundai/Kia Motors. Unlike ISO, QS, and TS audits, the SQ audit is a field-oriented audit, focusing on production and quality.
